I wanted you to all be aware that soon facebook will make it simpler to set your privacy controls across the board and in fact it will be retroactive and cover all past info on your profile, wall, etc.

lesson loop 5.6.10
This past week in our Student Ministry:
THIRD PLACE: "Purity Challenge"
We continue our purity series, and I believe it has been profitable for both our guys and our girls. Having them separate has allowed us to cover issues which are sensitive and specific for each group.
Our prayer is that we are all growing in our pursuit of purity - in every area of our lives.
Please partner with us and speak with your kids about purity - and let us know how we can help you!
LUCID: "Made in the image of God"
After watching a video which explained the evolutionary process of how we as humans came to be, we discussed how this would change our significance and purpose if it were really true.
Then we went through Genesis 2 and looked at how very different the Biblical account is which is truth. We talked about how we are made by God, and how we are made in His image. This changes everything!
Not only are we fearfully and wonderfully made by a loving God, we are dependent on that God and we will need to give an account to Him someday. This is why so many people refuse to believe in creation.
This lesson set up our new series on humanity. Next week we will talk about how while we are made in God's image, sin has severely scarred that image.

Let's work hard to protect our students from the dangers that are out there, both flesh and blood and virtual. In the case of formspring, each virtual conversation represents two real people interacting - are we glorifying God with our conversations?
